The State has been organized into four regions to allow more structure, coordination and for more defined response capabilities in the event of a natural or unnatural disaster.
Region 1
Blount, Cherokee, Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Etowah, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marion, Marshall, Morgan, and Winston Counties
Region 2
Bibb, Calhoun, Clay, Cleburne, Fayette, Jefferson, Lamar, Pickens, Randolph, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Tuscaloosa, and Walker Counties
Region 3
Autauga, Bullock, Chambers, Chilton, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Greene, Hale, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Marengo, Montgomery, Perry, Russell, Sumter, and Tallapoosa Counties
Region 4
Baldwin, Barbour, Butler, Choctaw, Clarke, Coffee, Conecuh, Covington, Crenshaw, Dale, Escambia, Geneva, Henry, Houston, Pike, Mobile, Monroe, Washington, and Wilcox Counties |
